how can i start talking to girls?

i am really shy around women i like
i dont want to be
but i am afraid of rejection to the point where i dont try to talk
i look calm
but am not

and how can i start talking to girls that i am intersested in
some i can talk to in sme conversation
but can never ask them out

others whom i do not know well
i cannot talk to at all

any help?

you dont have to ask them out. if shes interested then she might ask you. start talking to them as if they were a friend who you dont have feelings for. give girls some time. use your voice.

This may sound scary but try it out. If you have any female friends, get accustomed to their presence. You don't have to flirt or anything. Just chill with them and talk to them. Try to get the gist of how some female minds work. Observe others as well. Observation is a great way to learn things. Then make friends with a girl that you don't know. Don't show any intent on getting with her. Always read into your target and don't appear needy or desperate. If she gets accustomed to you, slowly advance. Then take it from there, you just have to have the confidence build up once you realize the female is not a threat to you.

well, I understand your point ..!! the fact about talking to girls is about finding the right topic at an appropriate moment ...and start going from there to get an email or a phone number ...
I'm gonna give you 2 examples:
1) I have been in a library, I met a girl I am attracted to , I go around her, she was also looking at books , and I said, is it the aisle where I am gonna find books about drawing she said yes, and from there, I asked her, are you interested in paintings? and go on conversation from there ..
2) I went to bank recently , there was a superb receptionist around, and I asked her ..haven't you been in TV show once ..I think I used to see ya there ...!! or maybe, it was your sister ..etc ..etc ...

try things like that and see what happens ..!!

Start with hi and a smile. Ask very simple questions, the lucky girl will be the one who continues the conversation and make you feel warm and welcome, the ones that would dis you are not worth it anyway.

Be simple and be yourself, it will take a lot of courage, ask a guy friend or a class acquaintance to help you out.

tell them they are pretty and talk to them alot, become a good friend before u date them. But when u do date, kiss the girl, any chance u get u kiss her, always hold her hand or put ur arms around her. Tell her that she is pretty or beautiful. But be friends before u date.
