Poms weigh in anywhere from 3 to 7 pounds when fully mature at around a year old. Sounds like your little "girl" is developing at a normal rate. She may even exceed the maximum amount by a pound or two.
Her final weight will actually depend on a number of factors.
Genetics usually plays a large part, but her health, diet, and the amount of exercise she gets plays an important part as well.
Feed your "baby" a good quality food with human-grade meats listed as the first ingredient, along with whole grains and even veggies and fruits, and she'll start her life off on the right track.
Read the dog food ingredient label and make sure she's getting wholesome ingredients and no "junk".
Suprisingly foods like Iams, Nutro, Eukanuba, Science Diet, Pedigree, etc are not as good as the makers want you to believe.
Foods like Chicken Soup For The Dog Lover's Soul, Natural Balance Ultra Premium, California Natural, Solid Gold, Healthwise, Eagle Pack (Holistic Select ONLY) and Innova are some choices that would be far better and cost about the same.
Feed her well. She's counting on you!

Depends on the size of the parents. Show poms usually don't get more than nine pounds. Mine (not a show pom) is 14 pounds! He's not overweight - he has a longer nose and longer legs than most poms. He's one year old. She IS cute! She has the same colorings as my Chester.

Poms are bred down from larger breeds and she is probably a throwback.. My BF breeds and shows them. Looks pure pom to me Some so called breeders like the larger ones because they get more puppies to sell.

I'm not quite sure but Pomeranians are small so they can't weigh that much. One of my friend has a pom and she says its little.
