That God loves everybody?

I asked this question to make a point. People think that because we say something is sin that we hate people. Like if I say Homosexuality is sin then I must hate homosexuals. But, the Bible says that God loves every one yet he also says that certain things are sin. Is it possible to hate a sin but not the sinner? God loves every body but He hates sin. Can't people too hate sin without hating the sinner?

John 3:16 talks about how God loves the world, and the people in the world. He loves us, but he doesn't like everything that we do. I'm sure he hates alot of the things we do... that's where unconditional love comes in. :)

John 3:16 (chapter 3, verse 16 of the Gospel of John) is one of the most widely quoted verses from the Christian Bible. It has been called the "Bible in a nutshell" because it is considered a summary of some of the most central doctrines of traditional Christianity:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

God loves everyone yes. He says to hate the act of sin but not the sinner. We are to love thy neighbor, but the bible says he does not condone "men who lie with men" can't remember where that is at the moment but if you look that quote up on an online bible you will find the scripture. I was always taught to "hate" the "act" not the person. Do I choose to hate the act? No...but that is what I was taught.

For one John 3:16, "For God so loved the world. He gave His only begotten Son." The world means all who live in it. Another, Psalm 145:17, "The Lord is righteous in all His ways and loving toward all he has made." Read the gospel of John.

There is a lot of passages that talks about God's love for us. A well- known verse in John 3:16.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.

You see, God loved us SO MUCH, it doesn't say God loves America, or God loves Israel, or paris. It says God loved the WORLD that He GAVE his only Son. He gave His only Son to die on the cross for our sins, so that we might be saved. So anyone that believes in Him will have everlasting life. It doesn't say only the Israel who believe in Him, or only the people in this place or that place that believe in Him but WHOEVER believes in Him.
