It may just be his personality, it may be becoz of other things going on in his life. Sometimes, I act that way. Even in relationships, guys have thought I just wasn't interested becoz I am a deep thinker (explains why some people come across as distant) and Im usually not a very affectionate type.

Do you feel as though he does care about you? It's how you feel that really matters at the end of the day.

If it is bothering you so much and after communicating you still are saddened by this behaviour than the relationship is not making you happy. Some people however are probably happy to be with a person who shows little emotion. No one is perfect, everybody is different.

You need to do whatever will make you happy. If your not happy end it. If you are happy, but this is the only problem, try to find a way to accept it and continue in the same direction.

Good luck.

Actions speak louder than words. Why like or date a person who is distant and cold towards you? What's the point? Dating and relationships are for getting closer and feeling warm.

Life is unfair girl for me it was the other way my girl was so distant and cold. She did care and did thing with me helped when I was down but her attitude was cold and harsh and not girly wise but I stayed with her because I loved her and still do. I say if you love him then show it find out the things he likes to do and surprise him and do small things that mean alot to him. He ight come around if not then yeah its time to move on. becuase its better to be loved than to love trust me on that one. I tried everything for my girl but she was always cold and seemed like she didnt care then she ended it and it hurts. Now I am the one who is cold and seem not interested in women because I am scared of getting my feelings hurt again.

I'm sure he really does care about you but perhaps you two haven't spent enough time together as actual friends and therefore only know each other on a romantic basis. Getting to know each other on a deeper (non-physical) basis may strengthen the relationship and fill the spaces between you two.

you should ask him..."if i ever left you, how long would it take you to get over me?" and when you say it look him straight in the eye and make sure he's looking straight in your eyes when he answers..if he asks if you guys are breaking up tell him answer the question tell him...if you really loved me you would answer first.

and if it that doesnt work just tell him how you feel straight out

he's just probably scared to talk to you or your doing something to make it feel like you don't need to be cared about so, go just comfort him a lot and dont let go until your sure that he really doesnt care!

good luck :]

To me actions speak louder than words. You can tell someone you care about them and not really be into them as far as a relationship goes. You like him, but not love him...get out before YOU invest too much!

Talk to him and tell him what you want and need. This is what dating is for. To find someone that gives you what you need and makes you happy.

Confront him and talk about it. Then tell him to only say it if he truly means it. 'Cause it sounds like he doesn't mean it.
