He lives in the US and I live in AUS. we've been emailing eachother a lot, we discovered eachother on a chatting site. I saw his profile pic and just melted. would it be smart for him to come to AUS to see me or would it be better if i went to the US to see him, either way we wanna see eachother but seems a little complicated because of the long distance. so what should i do?

my advice for u
1) u should know more about him , u know the world of chatting i can say something its not true ab out myself so u have to be sure about all information he gave u
2) u sure its his pic ? if u saw his cam so its OK
3) may be u liked his way of talking or his way of life but its not permanent love its just temporary love and u may feel sad in the future if u fall in relation with him
4) about moving from or to USA u should put in Ur mind which place u and him going to live ?
is it easy for u to leave Australia ? and are u sure he going to take care of u in America " take in Ur mind u will live there alone and no one will help u "
if he is going to move to Australia is he going to find a job ? and where and when ?
so u have to know more information about him first and then plan for that
about planning u should put in Ur mind all possible consequences that may happen and try to plan for each one of them

... this is very dangerous. I would say, get webcams and talk to each other if you are going to do anything. This would almost verify his identity, and that he has patience in meeting you. There are too many predators in the world today to just hop on a plane to see some guy that you have only emailed and seen one picture of.

Safest bet for you is to have him meet you in a safe place (i.e. your home city). That way, your friends can be a convenient back up for you, watching your back so to speak. Also, you'll seem better in his eyes because you're the one bringing the insight while he's the one spending the cash to get there.

I'm Old fashioned her , to me the man should come see you . Just like on a date the man should pay right? just tell him you would feel more comfortable if he came to your place.Carefully tho there's some psychos out there

Try meeting somewhere in between....... but if you really truly love this guy and he loved you, you would travel any distance to see him. I think you should get his adress make sure he isn't going anywhere anytime soon, and surprise him!

you should let him came to Australia it's the best way, i see it, but than again it's just my opinion.
