I'll be the different one here.
Saying your not sure if you believe and you don't believe are two different things. That is why there is atheism and agnosticism. Two different things, two different beliefs.
I agree with with commentor number one on the fact that non or semi believers will not go to "Christian" heaven. But I don't believe that this means the body/mind/soul will not ascend to a better place.
Each person has their own beliefs, as well as way of believeing. Just because you and I both believe in A heaven does not mean that it is the same one.
I believe that you can be a good person without diving 100% into the organized ways of your religious background. Just because you would rather pray at home and not at a church or temple doesn't mean you are a horrible person. Like wise, because you don't sit and devote time to personally speak with God, dosn't mean you don't communicate with him in some other form, nor does it mean that you are not good.
My point is, I believe that if you try you best, and live your life in a sound moral and ethical way, you will wind up in a better place, whether or not it is a place designated by your faith's choosing.
Also, just a thought for everyone out there saying that the only way to get into heaven is to accept Jesus... Does this mean that your saying that Jews, Muslims, Buddhist, and everyone religious group will not enter some realm of heaven? Because without a little clarification on your part, this is exactly what it sounds like.

No because the things you said are not a requirement to enter Heaven. Reads Romans chapter 10 starting at verse 9.

Being good will not save your soul. God gives us one way only. By believing that Jesus Christ was and is God Almighty and following Him. The scriptures are very clear on this point.
Jesus is the only way that we can come to know God. Believe in Him and confess your sins and allow God to change you into what He wants you to be. God will do all the work to transform you. You just have to ask Him with sincerity to do this. God knows our hearts and our thoughts. Gods wish is that ALL come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ and be washed clean. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, God says we appear before Him to be spotless, as if we have never sinned at all. God will choose to forget all our sins and He says He will bury them in the deepest depths of the sea. We are very near Christs return, Time is running short for everyone, I hope and pray that God will put an urgency in your heart as I pray for you. Eternity is a long time, it is forever. God Bless You....Peace

I guess that all depends on if their is a God or not.
Seriously, if you assume there is a God who lives in a Heaven, then it follows that one does not necessarily know he or she is following His ways and teachings to still be doing so; some people are born predisposed to live good lives even if they never become aware of God, and some people are born predisposed to live bad lives, even if (sometimes unfortunately, because) they were raised by very staunch Christian parents.
Not all of us have the good fortune to BELIEVE in God's existence in this life, but all of us who follow His ways (albeit involuntarily) will have the good fortune to KNOW His existence in the next life.

You won't go to Christian heaven. That's only for people who believe each and every fairy tale in the bible is literally true. If you believe that, you go to Christian heaven. If you don't, then you go to Christian hell.
On the other hand, if you think none of this makes any sense at all, that no loving God would allow millions of human beings to suffer in hell for all eternity just because they didn't believe that the primitive fairy tales of the bible are true, then you'll probably go wherever everyone else goes. That's where I want to go! Can you imagine spending all eternity with some of these fanatic Christians?

No; heaven and hell are made up places created just to scare / entice the gullible into religion.
If you're asking about what happens according to a certain faith - most christians believe that the only thing that matters is if a person accepts jesus. So a person can rape and murder a non-christian girl (who would go to hell, of course), find jesus in prison and go to heaven immediately upon electrocution.
Cute, huh?

The Right to Enter Paradise
Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)
Become part of God's family today. Acknowledge your sinfulness, and express your faith in these words:
"God, I have sinned against You. (Romans 3:23) I've followed my own way and refused to give You the right to rule in my life. (Romans 3:10-12) I recognize I am separated from You and cannot rescue myself. I do believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I accept the truth of the Scriptures? that His death on the cross paid my sin-debt in full. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) And I ask You to forgive me of my sins. (1 John 1:9) By faith, I receive You, Lord Jesus, as my personal Savior from this moment on."
If you just spoke those words to God, then, like the thief on the cross, you have received salvation? a gift of God's grace. The heavenly Father welcomes every person who comes to Him through His Son, regardless of background, age, or current situation. Through Jesus, the right to enter paradise is yours!

No one gets into heaven but through Jesus Christ, no matter how good they are. Everyone is a sinner an anyone with sin cannot enter heaven. So until we are forgiven as sinners by believing that Jesus took the punishment we desrve for our sin, we are not goung to heaven. But if we accept him, we will.
It sounds too easy, but it's true.

nope, according to the bible. No one can enter into heaven by being good. thats only part of it. the other is to accept Christ as your savior, be baptized and remain faithful.
Eph 2:8 For BY GRACE are ye SAVED ( HEAVEN BOUND) through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Eph 2:9 NOT OF WORKS,(DOING GOOD) lest any man should boast.
Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

No, because there is not any heaven. on the vivid side, there is not any hell, both. we may all favor to believe that we flow on cutting-edge continuously, and that the solid and undesirable movements human beings take (or perhaps then, one ought to ask "solid for whom?" or "undesirable in accordance to whom?") will by some skill be justly rewarded or punished - both in this existence, or the subsequent. regrettably, it really is basically not the way issues paintings basically. Morality (and God) changed into invented with information from folk, while the universe operates on an entirely distinct set of guidelines. you would possibly want to nicely be asking at this element, "So why be a good human being if there is not any advantages in it?" To which i might want to reply, "once you're purely doing solid issues because you're expecting some advantages contained ultimately, isn't that really type of egocentric?" For that count number number, what's a "solid" human being? i do not understand how useful that's to label human beings as "solid" or "undesirable" at the same time as human beings are much better complicated than that. And numerous religions available provide various recommendations of what "solid" and "undesirable" are that it is confusing to entice close for particular. to boot to, as you've already pronounced, there are countless "solid" human beings available who do not somewhat see a favor to have God of their lives. i think that what maximum human beings might want to stumble on as a "solid" human being is someone who's type and efficient to others. A better precise time period for such someone be "humanist," which Kurt Vonnegut succinctly defined as "attempting to act decently without expectation of rewards or punishment once you're lifeless." So why behave decently? nicely, for one, you'll have better acquaintances, and your probabilities of residing longer are better. you received't continually get what you want, yet you'll a minimum of have the delight of understanding that you tried to make the international a much better position - and when you consider that this international is all any human beings will ever have, isn't that the biggest section?
