I would pay for a background check. All you need is name and address. Then go to peoplefinder.com and it costs about $50. I think it is worth the money to do a quick check on a candidate or two that you are considering. And make sure he/she is not a sex offender. You can look this up for your state on line for free (or contact your local police department). You never know these days, so be cautious.
