So I had my wisdom teeth removed on friday, and I still can't eat anything too hard..but I've been eating soups and yogurts and all that boring stuff for 5 days, and I'm going crazy! I need something that's gonna fill me up. I'm thinking of ordering out, does anyone have any ideas of what I could eat that won't kill my teeth?

how about a smoothie? protein shake? peanut butter? mashed potatoes? ice cream?

that's pretty much it when it comes to "not chewing" anything.

Drinking water can help curb the hunger a little. In the poorer areas of Mexico where food is harder to come by, they eat a combination of rice (or pasta) and baked beans (not the green kind) in the same meal, which really sticks to the stomach. As an alternative, combining protein and carbs in the same meal will fill you up, like a peanut butter sandwich.

The day I had my wisdom teeth pulled, I had a milkshake and fries from BK. The shake went down pretty easy. I had to gum the fries even though it took over an hour to eat them.

You can take practically any of your favorite foods and puree it while adding milk, chicken stock or water. It is done all the time in nursing homes. You would be surprised how good fried (de-boned and) pureed chicken or steak tastes--you can add spices or even mustard and catsup. Just think "junior baby food" consistency. Be creative. Do this in a food processor or blender.

try eating heated cheese pizza (to the melting point) and then dipping it in applesauce before you bite into it. It may sound really gross, but trust me, its the revolutionary snack idea thats sweeping the nation.
