Matthew 6:5-6: "And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men....when thou prayest, enter into thy closet and when thou has shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret...."

This means that you don't have to pray out loud to let others know what you are praying about to make them think you are some dedicate person to God when in reality, you are doing it to be seen.

It's saying that when you pray that you shouldn't make a big deal out of it abd show off, but you should pray one on one with God because it's between Him and you, so no one else needs to hear. You shouldn't be showing off that you pray a lot. :)

Luke, chapter 11 verse 2

And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

I think it means that you shouldn't be boastful and make a big deal out of "O, look at me! I'm praying to God!". I think its like a conversation with a close friend or parent, you do it in private.

"Comments" is a very vague question, but I'll do my best.

The scripture means you should pray to God, not for the sole purpose of looking to others like you're praying, and thus showing off.

That's why I agree with silent prayer in the Church, not one person making a spectacle of himself in front of the whole Church. It proves nothing except you want attention. My time alone with God is the most important time of my day.

The expression of our faith is a highly personal matter. It should not be flaunted in front of others, just for the sake of being seen by them. We are to approach God in humility and brokenness.
(A humble and contrite heart)

When you pray speak to God not to those around you.
Don't pray just so that others see what you are doing, pray to talk to God.
