NO VASELINE! Vaseline is oil based and can clog or irritate the sore. Use Neosporin and cover it with a Band-Aid at night to help it heal. After 2-3 nights it should look much better.
In the future, popping pimples is very bad, but if you do it right, you can lessen the chance of it scarring your skin.
Taking a hot shower or applying a warm, wet washcloth for 10-15 minutes will help "bring out" the pimple. If there is no white 'head' to it at all, wait a couple days until there is. Finger pressure on a pimple that's not close to the surface of your skin can cause bruising and your fingernails may scar your skin.
After the heat, use your fingertips or 2 cotton swabs to apply pressure closes to the head of the pimple and squeeze gently. If it hurts way too much, even after you've applied heat, again, wait a couple days to dry again. If it pops, clean up the area with a swab. Many times if it still bleeds a lot afterwards, there is more stuff to squeeze out. If after another try it doesn't come out, apply some tissue until the bleeding stops.
At night, apply Neosporin and a Band-Aid. The next morning, try the process again. If your acne is uncontrollable, make sure you are not allergic to your facial products. Always wash your face and hands before trying to pop pimples.

Don't pop your pimples!!!! It's a stupid thing to do. It ends up causing more pimples because you get bacteria into the open wound after you pick it and it causes scars that can last a LONG time (a life time in some cases). I know pimples are annoying and it seems like picking them is the only solution. It's not. You'll want to get some benzyl peroxide. You can find some acne medicines over the counter. You could also go see a dermatologist.
About your 'bruise' -clean your face twice a day. Make sure you keep it clean. and just leave it alone. It will heal eventually. Just make sure you don't pick at it or put your fingers on it. You don't want bacteria getting in the sore. You might want to put some Neosporin on it too. It doesn't help a lot, but it doesn't hurt.

this happened to me too, just don't touch it anymore and it will self-heal in about 2-3 weeks, yeah it's a long time but if you're insecure about it then out a bandaid on. vaseline, alcohol, whatever else is not going to help it heal, trust me.

Put a non oil concealer on it... it shouldn't bruise (by the way, instead of saying "know" it should have been "now")
