No, raw eggs can carry a bacteria that will make you very sick. If you want protein, eat lean red meats, fish, chicken and beans.

You can get salmonella. Pretty much food poisioning from uncooked eggs. Protein is good for athletes. Especially body builders or those who are trying to add muscle.

Eggs are an excellent source of protein, and a substance in the white offsets the cholesterol in the yolk. However, like so much of our food supply, commercial eggs may be contaminated with salmonella, which will make you pretty sick. Unless you buy your eggs from a local grower with whom you have a relationship, best to cook them until the yolks are firm.

No, these days you can get dangerous bacteria from raw eggs. Cook them- eggs are a good source of protein.
