My boyfriend told me he needed some time apart because he was stressing about work. The next two days, he called me, then he wants to see me. It frustrates me because it makes me feel like he doesn't stick to what he says and then next thing you know we are back at "I need time apart"...
I told him I didn't want to see him until he had his time, he got upset.

It's how guys are. He's stressing so he doesn't want any of the hassles of a relationship but he'd like to keep all the benefits of a relationship. He wants to know you're there for him when he needs you to be and then he wants you to not be there when he's stressed or tired and doesn't want to put forth effort a boyfriend should. You have to decide if that's good enough for you to stay with him.

he is stressing out about work, & lots of men grow quiet, or moody, or even asking for funny things such as time apart: like your bf.
Be there for him hun, he is stressing out & he needs your listening ear & ur strength. be his pillar when he is stress and down. He will very much appreciate it when th work stress is over
