In my opinion you need to figure out what you will use the car for.
WRX and the EVO are both quick cars and they would be my choice if I was performance oriented.

Wow those are complete different category cars. First lemme ask you want kind of street car do you want? Drifting? Drag? Performance? before we start i want to tell you i rode in all the cars you listed (i didnt really ride in the GSR but the reg integra and Type-R but same thing)

Drifting = RWD
Drag=Powerful transmission/engine
Performance=Overall suspension, cornering, acceleration, etc

Mazdaspeed6 is a good car. Its turbocharged 2.3L DOHC engine with 270hp and 280torque and AWD. it goes 0-60 in approx 5.4sec and 1/4 mile in 14sec. It has a good kickback and the suspension is decent and handles cornering fairly well. Also the car inside is decently comfortable for daily driving and the gearbox is smooth Overall its a good car for its price if you can afford 28, however i think there isnt much parts for the car yet to fully bring up to its potential so you might have to search for some online.

WRX STi is one hell of a car. The STi is equip with turbocharged 2.5L Boxer DOHC AWD engine. The boxer engine is what makes the WRX special. Instead of the piston going up and down, it goes side to side, so it maintains stability on cornerings. It has 293 HP with 290 Torque which really makes your head fly back when you accelerate into full gear. It goes 0-60 in approx 4.6sec and 1/4mile in 13.1sec. The corner and the stability of the car is amazing. The inside has some what of creature comfort however the backside is very cramped. Also offered multitude of parts for the car. However the main problem with this car is the transmission, its sturdy but claimed to to be the weakest part of the car. If you planning to upgrade over 500whp then a trany swap is necessary.

Lancer Evo is a beast. Also its also turbocharged 2.0 boxer DOHC AWD engine. This car is fast and simply amazing... it goes 0-60 in 4.4 and 1/4mile 12.9 sec. The car itself competes with porsches. The cornering and stability is almost equilivent to the STi but because it is lighter then the STi it handles cornering a little smoother then the STi. However the inside of the car lacks creature comfort and often you feel cramped. Depending on the trim you want (RS, IX, or MR) the interior frankly sucks. 3rd rate speakers, consol, no automatic window(depending on the trim). You should research on the trims. However the MR has upgraded suspension and six speed manual however cost $2000 more then the STi. One the lancer's common problem is that they have a weak clutch and tends the worn out fast. Also from personal experiance i felt awkward shifting between 1-3 gears, but that could be just me.

Accord Sedan i have my doubts. Although vtec is a superb racing engine, the Accord Sedan is simply not meant for racing unless modified. Depending on the Trim (guessing its a EX) it has a V6 3.0L VTEC SOHC FWD engine. 0-60 is about 6.7sec and 1/4 is 15.3sec. The FWD has some advantages and disadvantages. Advantages: more space in the car, easier to drive in the snow without traction control. Disadvantages: Reduces handling to the limit and torque steer (usually not that great when the car has more then 250hp). The cornering is very limited for the accord due to being front wheel and the weight distribution is not all that great for a race car. Its a nice car with a lot of creature comfort and a great resale value, however upgrading the accord is more pain then a joy. It is meant to be a family car.

1999integra GSR. I dont know much about the GSR but it has a VTEC DOHC FWD engine with 170hp. Im not sure about the other stats, however it is a great car with a great engine made by honda. The Vtec revs up to 8000 and integras are offered various amount of parts and such and it has the reputation of the one of the top modified car since the 90's due to its VTEC engine and the cost of the vehicle. However cornering and steering and power wise it does not compare to the modern cars that are out. Also the inside lack creature comfort and feels cramp. Its a great project car no doubt though.

Overall my opinion is.... I would personally get the WRX STi. not only is a fast car but it can be use as a daily car. It has some what of a comfort inside with 5 passager seat and has a thrill of an streetrace car. However if your strickly on racing i recommend the Lancer Evo. Its quick acceleration and cornering makes me speechless with great throttle response. However the STi and the EVO are a close match but its whatever you prefer. If you never been in a turbocharged/supercharged car, you havent truly enjoy driving a car yet. Goodluck with your car searching!

P.S. Sorry if there are grammar mistakes and some info mistake. Im not perfect you know!

07 Accord sedan better car, better insurance rates then the WRX STI, Lance EVO. If you can afford the rates. Go with The STI. Subarus are well built and great handling, reliable and fast. Mazda6 is not as good quality as the Honda. Mitsubishi is not as good quality as Subaru. The integra is 8 years old.

I don't know anything about most of the cars you mentioned, but one, the Honda Accord (Honda) in general are very good cars. My husband has had two of them and out of all of the cars we have had, he likes the Honda best. He changes his own oil and does general maintenance on it and very seldom has it had to be repaired by a mechanic. It's a 1992 and has well over 100,000 miles on it. It gets good gas mileage. You mention -07 accord sedan. If you can get a new car, I believe the Honda would be a good idea. Hondas do have good resale value.
Good luck with your decision

Really depends on what you are going to use it for. Why not try a classic like a 60 or 70 camaro or mustang/ Try a 6 banger to start with, easy to get parts and fun to work on.
