I would have done everything differently except marrying my husband.
The one thing I would change the most is I would not let my mother in law push me around so much. I think thats why I am such an advocate for brides now, I want every bride I know to have the wedding that makes HER happy, not the one that makes someone else happy. I let someone ruin my special day, I dont want others to experience the same.

I would have planned to stay at the reception longer. That was unquestionably the best party I have ever been to...Everyone I loved was in the same room, having a fabulous time, all together!!!
My daughter is getting married this year, and I'm a little sad that she's doing it in the evening...We'll have to be out of the reception hall by 11:00, and I'm not certain that I'll have the energy to continue the party elsewhere.

My wedding was HUGE and when I say huge I don't mean just 100 people {try close to 300 people}. There were people there I had not seen since I was 5 or 6 and when I got married I was 33. I had 5 bridesmaids and 2 maids of honors there were 6 groomsmen and one best man not to mention the flower girl, ring barer and so forth. If I could go back and do it all over again it would be small and intimate maybe 20 people max. The cost doesn't bother me as we could afford to do so but I think it was a bit over the top we were trying to please everyone but ourselves.

yes I would do it different but not because I didn't like it then - but after 7 years in the wedding industry, I have so much information and so many ideas, plus, I have matured, my tastes have changed, etc. For example, my colors were pink and baby blue - if I did it now, it would be chocolate brown and pink.

Our wedding day was wonderful..the planning of it was a whole other thing..too long of a story! With all that being said, I wouldn't trade that day in for anything in the world...Looking at the whole picture....my husband and I agreed that would should have eloped!

For sure, a photographer that could shoot. All my photos went to the bin. And avoid the people that keep sending you to the honemoon instead of enjoying the party. I would have much more fun.

Absolutely nothing different. We knew exactly what we wanted and made all the decisions together and did not let anyone butt in. It was perfect!

I would probably not have drank so much alcohol. Other then that I wouldn't have changed a thing. Our day was great.
