It's legal where I live, and while I've never tried it I know quite a few people who smoke pot, I don't really notice anything about them when they smoke a single joint, even if they've smoked a lot it affects them far less than if they've even had a couple of alcoholic drinks (without the pot that is, not in addition to it!). The little effect I have seen is that they get more relaxed, while I've unfortunately seen lots of people on alcohol get aggressive, yet alchohol is legal in the US and pot is not... I've never been able to see the logic in that!
So no, I don't think smoking pot occasionally is a problem. Only problem is that if you do live in the US & you get busted, you may get into a lot of trouble for something you do so little....

In my opinion yes it is safer than any other mood altering chemical. Alcohol is much worse than pot.
But everything in moderation, at 50yrs old I smoke maybe once or twice a month. I do plan a trip to Amsterdam this year for a little fun though. Pot can be purchased in "Cofee houses" legally there. The US laws are absurd, alcohol is far worse than pot.
Trettsom has no idea what he/she is talking about!
Look up information via google. Anything too extreme is BS wether it says pot is super good for you or super bad for you.

okay, ive heard a lot of sterotype kinda crap that just isnt true here. im not going to try and debunk that, but better, answer your question for you. the only real downsides from smoking marijuana is it makes you lazy and has the possibility of making you more open minded when it comes to trying something stronger. if you use marijuana, by itself, occasionally, you should have absolutly, no problems. unless you get pulled over.

You have to consider the carbon monoxide that you inhale with the THC. I participated in a test over 30 years ago smoking it everyday; no ill effects.
But I no longer partake.

Really i don't see why not, i have friends that are cronic's and they seem to be alright, but it seem's as though that's all they think about there next joint, if you only use it once in a while i don't think you would have a problem, off course unless you turn into a cronic yourself, cause like my friends it might consume your life, and there are a lot of woman/men that don't want to be with a stoner, not to mention that it could become very expensive so like alcohol or any other drug use with caution. (and like alcohol i would recomend not to drive a vehicle while using.)

Definitely not unless by medication, in which case it can be helpful but is not often used.

Absolutely not! Just one time can kill you! It's illegal for a reason! I would see my doctor immediately if I were you and you've smoked pot before.

It shouldn't be a problem, but you may develop hypersensitivity to other types of plant material. (Allergies)
