They mean like these types of lines "oh, I like what your wearing, you'd look good on me" or some stupid lame *** comment like that. I have heard phrases soo bad they aren't even worthy of rememberance and ironically enough nor were the men who spouted them. Pick up lines make guys seem both desperate and hick.

It means you have to come correct with them and be you and say something you would say as opposed to a cheesy line that will only embarras you.

Its irritating- dumb things that we have heard a hundread times- cheesy lines that you hear on tv
