I'm almost 60! Cannot believe that my cheeks and nose are breaking out. The doctor told me it's called rosacea. I'm very young for my 'age' but this is ridiculous. He wants to put me on an antibiotic, but it seems like I may be on this forever. Help!

I'm 42 and I have it too. I was put on anti biotics, but got tired of taking them. Also was prescribed topical medications, but applying three different meds twice a day got to be a little too much for me. There are times when my skin is relatively clear and other times when it's an all out war zone. I'm sure that your doctor told you that spicey foods and alcohol can exacerbate the condition, so try and avoid these whenever possible. Also, stress plays a role in outbreaks. By the way, my mom is 64 and she has
it too. It's hereditary. Thanks mom....
