okay so even though everyone thinks i should ask this guy out because it sounds like he likes me, im old fashion and i dont go that way. i have always believed in the guy asking the girl! i cant change that. he is really cool and everyone says he likes me, then why isnt he asking me out. he acts like he likes me alot!but it also bothers me that if he does, why isnt he asking me out? hes not shy, and i know this because we are close friends and i know about his other relationships. hes not the shy type! what do i do? i like him sooo much, and i really want to have a relationship with him. but sometimes i feel like nothing is going to happen, the school year only has like 5 months left and we arent going to the same highschool! i cant wait forever.
and he used to know i liked him because my friends told him. but now he thinks i like this other kid,who is soon to ask me out this weekend. he asks me every day if i like this other kid. and i say no. what else can i do?!?!

I used to be that way (thinking the guy should always ask the girl out). But I got lucky, know why? There was a Sadie Hawkins dance at our school (where the girl's ask the guys) and luckily I didn't feel so bad. But I'm super glad I did because if I hadn't, I don't know if I would have ever had the wonderful relationship I have now! My boyfriend and I have been dating for over a year now, so I've learned that sometimes you have to leap before you look.

ASK HIM OUT! He probably has doubts that you really don't like the other guy. SO GO FOR IT. It will work out better if you are going to highschool together, but sometimes thing change just remember that cause I just got to highschool this last year and all my old friends ditched me completely and everything changes.

Get over being old fashioned. Ask your friend out. If he doesn't jump at the chance, then I would stop focusinhg on him. He may be nervous that it will ruin your friendship or change your relationship. My best guy friend told me directly that he was interested in me, and has yet to ask me out. I am now going to jsut up and ask him out. If it doesn't materialize it is time to move on to someone who is genuinely interested in you and will sack up and ask u out.
