Instead of looking for long range power, I would look for clarity. It would be worth while to save up a little longer and get better binos. Leica, Zeiss, and Swarovski are the 3 best, but very spendy. If you want quality, but still affordable I would go with Leupold, you can find a decent pair of 10X50 for around $400. I wouldn't go much cheaper.

You will not get much for $200.00 if that is what you call affordable?

Leica is a top of the line glass and if you can afford them they would be well worth it.

Zeiss is another good company to look into.

Clarity is the most important.
Remember the higher the magnification the smaller the field of view.
Zeiss is the top in my book

Try LEICA.com
Leica is the German company with more than 100 years experience with lences. They might be expencive, but they rock. As soon as you know what you are searching for, you might try e-bay. First, try to decide what quility you want - it is about your eyes too!
Good luck

I've seen 20x60 but they weren't cheap. Also, anything bigger than say 16x50 is hard to hold steady for viewing without a tripod mount.
