It's MOST common in women in their 40's, but it's not unheard of in women in their teens and 20's. It depends a lot on family history and the type of cancer. Some forms are more aggressive than others.

Very young women can get breast cancer. I haven't heard it in the teens but I have heard it in the twenties.
Unfortunately the guidelines for mamogram are 40 years old. 35 if family history. Practitioners tend to dismiss young women with concerns. A big no no.

I really don't think cancer has any age discrimination. It can happen to anyone at any age. Usually screening starts at 40, 35 if family history of it. I really think that once a girl hits puberty, she should be screened for it, maybe not as often as older women or those that have family history but atleast be screened. If not that young, then once the woman has her first Pap test, mamograms should also begin. Really the earlier it is detected, the sooner treatment can begin.

your ? could make 1 think you want breast cancer ..
try to be more care full with your wording ..
cancer knows no age .. i knew a lil girl that was 10 that had ovarian cancer and died (my nephew had cancer and died, and we saw lots of kids that had cancer) none that i know of had breast cancer ..
best thing to do is at 18 go get a mammogram done, and every month do a self check .. you can google it "self breast exam" and it will show you how .. then i would save every couple years go get a mammogram done, of course when your 40 i would go every year
