It's better to eat 5-6 small meals throughout the day. As for times, it doesn't matter as long as it's consistent from day to day, and you don't eat too soon before bed. 2-3 hours is a good rule of thumb for that one.

Depends on what time you wake up. Here is my own routine as a reference:
Wake up at 9 am: Drink Carnation breakfast drink and have an apple, banana, or yogurt bar
Eat a small snack at about noon
Eat lunch around 2:30 or 3 ... a small salad, some fruit, and a lean pocket typically
Have a piece of fruit or something until dinner, which is at about 6 or 7 ... and it's a small dinner, usually microwaveable
Have another snack before bedtime if needed.
I try not to let more than 3 or 4 hours go by without eating, so smaller meals are definitely the way to go.

Your spose to eat breakfast within 1 hour of waking up, and then have a snack 2 hours after that, then lunch. after lunch wait 2 hours again and have a snack and then have dinner. dont eat after 7:30 at night if u have a weight problem.
hope this helps.

you SHOULD only eat when you are genuinely hungry
but who does that neway?? I sure as hell don't
I eat at 9AM on weekends, then 1PM, then dinner around 7 or 8... depends on when I am @ home
On weekdays I eat B at 6:30, lunch at noon, dinner at 6 or 7

More smaller meals are actually healthier but in general it depends what you put into your body. If this is to help lose weight walking everyday can also help you good luck!

5 to 6 SMALL, balanced "meals" are WAY better than 3 LARGE ones.
Your body burns energy throughout the day, and to keep your metabolism HIGH (Where it BURNS calories) is to NOT overload it!

Before they became "civilized", Native Americans ate whenever they were hungry; and they only ate enough to satisfy their hunger. They didn't need defined mealtimes and they seemed to do OK.
