If there were no hell or heaven, I would try to obey God's laws because they are for the betterment of men. He does not teach hatred, bigotry, or any of the negatives. It is the better way.

Absolutely. God's laws (notice I say GOD'S, not any particular religion's) are guidelines to being a good person and loving others. They have been spoken and written in many forms. As I have decided that being a good person and being good to others is what I want out of life, I choose to obey those laws.

I think thats a thought provoking question, I never thought of it before, and I would like to think that I would still obey him, and I guess as humas if we knew there was no punishment we might not obey.
but if we love the way of truth, then we would.
I really hate that I even failed at this answer..

I don't believe any of us will go to hell. We should be obeying the commandments to make our lives better.

Somehow everything you WRITE is Missing the Knowledge About GOD, that ONLY COMES FROM HIS WORD!

I as a Christian OBEY GOD out of My Love for HIM, saving me From SELF AND SIN! Not from the fear of Hell!

The WORD speak to this Issue and the Fear OF HELL!

(Hebrews 2:14-15) Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

(Heb 2:15) And deliver them = = who through fear of death [and hell] = = were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

IF you came to HIM, HE will save you from SELF, which seems to be your Problem, "Not GOD!"

Thanks, RR
