i tried snails on the cruise ship as they tasted ok i just couldn't do the feel of them in my mouth so i would not attempt it again so yeah i have

yes, escargots are more flavorful than a shrimp cocktail as an
appetizer. they are also lovely served in cooked pasta shells.
