Hodad's in O.B.
Nicky Rotten's in The Gaslamp
Yard House in Downtown
Johnny B's in La Mesa
and people will say
Rocky's in Crown Point, which is fine but it's a small dive bar and crowded w/ a bunch of drunk regulars in the middle of day (which is probably why I like it) but it's nothing special...
at least not like Hodad's.
Finally, if your looking for Drive-Thru burgers, there is FINALLY a Tommy's on Clairemont Mesa Dr. to go along with the always dependable In-n-Out

i could propose dropping out of your itinerary previous city and Seaport Village. previous city's administration employer replaced a year in the past; it quite is now greater traditionally superb yet frankly plenty greater uninteresting via fact the excellent eating places and shops have been compelled out in want of historic accuracy. and that i'm somebody who likes history! Seaport Village is an excellent bore to me and the eating places are the two overpriced and undesirable. it quite is important to evaluate a boat excursion of the harbor; quite a few companies on the downtown Embaradero supply them very virtually each hour. Maritime Museum is close by with interesting ships to work out. Anthony's for seafood and the Fish industry for seafood are close by and the two sturdy bets for place to consume. Anthony's has a "fishette" next to their eating place for low-value yet very sturdy takeout seafood, you may grab a chair on the deck and watch the existence of the harbor as you consume. actual save Gaslamp Quarter. Horton Plaza is a exciting plaza yet while the place you're from has enormous paying for department shops i does no longer think of you will locate plenty unique approximately it. Little Italy is superb yet no longer wonderful. Coronado has the hotel del coronado and the silver strand sea coast, the two worth vacationing. l. a. Jolla has unique shops, super eating places, appropriate seashores and determination of kayak excursions of l. a. Jolla Caves section with snorkel obtainable. Water's nonetheless heat sufficient for this to be a sturdy thought. Pacific sea coast has advantageous seashores and a exciting night existence scene...has a tendency to be a youthful bar crowd than the Gaslamp yet using applying some years. GAslamp greater dressy. ought to evaluate Balboa Park and the zoo.

PDQ Burgers in Point Loma and Tower Two Cafe in OB are good. The Black Angus by Sports Arena has a really good burger. In-N-Out always wins in my book....

I like what used to be called Hamburger Mary's but it is now named Urban Mo's (Hillcrest). I usually ask for my burger to be served on toasted Hawiian bread (slightly sweet) opposed to a regular bun.
