I have a bf who i love with all my heart and have been with him for 2 months now. The problem is, that i also have a male friend who i really feel a connection with and did from the minute i met him, we were like best friends from the start and helped eachother through some really difficult times. We unfortunately lost contact over a year ago. I hadnt seen this friend in all this time even though i thought about him and was worried something had happened to him due to his past. I saw him today while i was out with my bf. I introduced them and my friend asked whether we were living together (we arent) and i told him we arent.
I havent stopped thinking about him all day now and why he would ask a question like that out the blue. does anybody have any clues? or am i just reading too much into it?
I am 25 and this man must be at least 40 now. I really wanted to ask for his number again but thought it was wrong to ask while my bf was standing there.

Ur 25 hes about 40.. too old for u if u were thinking about hin being more then Ur friend.. if u love ur BF.. stick with him.. and be with the one who is there for u.. not the one who lift.. and if u thinking about him.. I think because u guys were Friends... and share some good times... You really love your bf with ''all your heart'' after 2 months, yet still want to ask for this other blokes number.
The bloke was either being polite/curious, or wanted to see how serious you were.
Either finish your bf your with, or forget this man. You cant have the best of both worlds.

He sounds a bit like a father figure type/ Ur worth more. U are clearly not that content with current boyf or you wouldn`t be thinking about this other guy..Do yourself a favour and walk away from the pair of them..U are young and have the world at your feet. Good Luck

There are two reasons he could have said that:
1.
He has feelings for you.
2.
He is concerned for you.
Either way, he's just being a good friend.

wow big age gap but thats how life is, he must feel the same way about u guys r very vocal about how they feel about things because some guys dont have that, shut up filter, we give away our feelings 2 easily, he cares about u as much as u do him he obviously gives off hints, look for thos ehints and see what happens

well your in a situation. If you really are being bugged by what he said then you're going to have to just talk to him...if you were that close before im sure he wont mind you asking...and as for being wih him I would make sure you're absolutely sure he's the one because otherwize your going to hurt your bf for no gd reason
