What are the infinitive's of: BAILAR, MIRAR, PERDER, TRABAJAR, and BEBER for the future spanish tense? Is there a good website for a list of the rules?

Thanks,
Andrew

Those are infinitives. An infinitive never changes. It has no tense, or it is the same in all tenses or however you want to define it, but it will never change. By the way, the future tense is really easy, there are only about three or four irregular verbs, well I must admit that I haven't counted but there aren't many. Basically the endings for the future tense are:

yo - e
tu - as
el/ella/Ud - a
nosotros - emos
ellos/ellas/uds - an

except for with accents. So you just take the infinitive (with the last letter r) and add the ending.

ir+a+infinitive is a way to talk ABOUT the future (ex. i am going to...) but it is not how you talk in the future tense. You will learn this in high school or Spanish 4. Also, ir is an irregular verb so it is not good to use it as an example because it is usually different from the other verbs when it is conjugated.

Yes those are infinitives but if you want to say each one of those in future tense 1st person

bailar: yo bailaré

mirar: yo mirare

perder: yo perdere

trabajar: yo trabajare

beber: yo bebere

(all with e accent at the end)

hope it helps and good luck with your spanish
