They sure can. They have email just like you and I. If you're asking if there's a website to get emails from deployed Marines, Sailors, Soldiers and Airmen, probably not. Since 9/11 security has been heightened to keep from identities being discovered. You can go to a local USO and get an opportunity to communicate with deployed individuals.

Depends on where they are located. Most FOB's have internet access. My husband is in Iraq and pays for satellite internet in his room. We talk through email, yahoo messenger, aim, webcam.

Yes they can email and call as well. There are MWR sites set up and their leadership encourages them to call home and email as much as possible.

Sure can! I heard from my buddy very regularly when he was over there. He was also allowed to IM all the time.
