Trust me girl! Nothing makes the hair grows faster. It's just a marketing strategy out there to get their products sell. Think about it and tell me if it really doesn't make sense. If you put in vitamins, minerals, nutrients, eating a well balance diet, drinking sufficient water what would you think would be the output? Healthy skin, nails and hair. If it is not in the genes, your hair would not grow fast. if you are not eating healthy, then it shows on the skin, hair and nails.
P.S.
One of the reasons why we think that our hair isn't growing fast enough is we use chemicals in the hair to quickly such as the relaxers. The recommended time for when a relaxer is due is eight weeks but as soon as the hair looks nappy we want to see dead straight hair so we relax it again. Not only are we making the hair weaker but also we are chemically overprocessing the hair which could cause premature balding and stunting of growth over a period of time.

Beautylover's response is inaccurate in three ways. Products only help your hair by protecting, cleaning, moisturizing, or holding a style. There is NO special pill, drink, food, solution or tonic that is going to make your hair grow faster or longer. Hair grows an average of 6 inches per year.
Two: Cutting your hair will not make it grow faster. It grows from your scalp and pushes out. This means the very tip of your hair is the oldest. Shoulderlength hair is about 2-3 years old.
Third, the easiest way to prevent split ends is to treat your hair right. That means not using harsh shampoos, blowdryers, curling irons, and straightners. The best way is to oil your hair. This DOES NOT mean completely soak it--it means applying a few drops, rubbing it in your palms, and smoothing it over your hair.

Pantene Pro V protects your hair from getting split ends so as a result it will go faster. I have been using it my whole life and when I get a haircut to my shoulders, it usually grows all the way down my back in about 6 months. Hope this helps!

There really isn't a shampoo or conditioner that speeds up the growth process, but I have known lots of people who say that prenatal vitamins and carrot juice are both proven to help.
