You can find God speed in the Bible in the book of Second John.
2 John 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
2John 1:11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
This doctrine is the good news found in the Holy Bible that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and Lord and Savior of the whole world.
So if someone comes to your house and trys to get you to believe anything different that the truth found only in the Holy Bible, don't welcome them into your house. As they are leaving and they say to you, "well you have a nice day, and God bless you", Don't you say God bless you or go in God speed.
Like others have said, God speed is wishing them God's blessings for a fast and safe journey.
Hope this answers your question.

That God should make something happen quickly and safely, often said to someone about to travel.
At the living history museum I used to work at, there was a toast we used, taken from period sources:
God Speed The Plow!
If you have ever plowed using oxen, you can appreciate this kind wish.
