Not only can you go to college, but being a homeschooler gives you a HUGE advantage! if you do well on your SATS, you can get into almost any college of your choice.
A few years ago, Time magazine did a cover story on homeschooling. It was excellent! i still have it. When you are homeschooled, you are considered as an minority. Colleges have to select a certain % each year to meet that criteria. Homeschooling students really stand out! Time magizine also stated that IVY league colleges such as Yale and Harvard, were going out and recruiting homeschooled students. The reasons. They scored higher on the SATS, they were found to be more mature and more serious about their school work. Not into the party scene. Homeschool students in general, not always seem to have a better work ethnic and take school and education more seriously. that's why these IVY Colleges are recruited homeschoolers with full scholarships. I hope this helps!

Sure. I don't see why not. Many of youngest people to EVER go to college were homeschooled.
But....(there is always a but)...if you were not offered a correct education. Or your teacher (parent) didn't teach you EVERYTHING you needed, then college might be harder.
I was homeschooled until High School and was put back a year when i entered public school. My mother wasn't able to teach me what i needed to know, because she her self stuggled with math.
If I had been in public school ALL MY LIFE I feel that my SAT score would have been higher. And i would have gone to college.

Sure. Not all schools take home schooled kids, but enough do. To get on the same playing field as public school students, you would have to take and score very high on the SAT or ACT -- depending on the college. Or you can go the community college route for a year or two and transfer to a big university.

Definitely! Once a child has passed the necssary tests, they have a high school diploma like a child from a public school. I personaly know of a couple of kids that went on to college after being home schooled.

Of course. Being home-schooled doesn't change the fact that you still know the material. I've even heard of people being home-schooled at a community college.

Home schooled, public schooled, and private schooled children all have the same chances of getting into college.

Of course! Many home schooled students do better than their public schooled peers, and colleges have learned that.
Go for it!
