If He came back as He did before, people would still hate Him. Jesus told a parable about how people would treat Him:

Luke 20:9-16

9 He went on to tell the people this parable: "A man planted a vineyard, rented it to some farmers and went away for a long time. 10 At harvest time he sent a servant to the tenants so they would give him some of the fruit of the vineyard. But the tenants beat him and sent him away empty-handed. 11 He sent another servant, but that one also they beat and treated shamefully and sent away empty-handed. 12 He sent still a third, and they wounded him and threw him out.

13 "Then the owner of the vineyard said, 'What shall I do? I will send my son, whom I love; perhaps they will respect him.'

14 "But when the tenants saw him, they talked the matter over. 'This is the heir,' they said. 'Let's kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.' 15 So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.

"What then will the owner of the vineyard do to them? 16 He will come and kill those tenants and give the vineyard to others."
(from New International Version)

People hate the fact that God owns the world and all that is in it. And they will until Judgement Day.

Some day HE will come again but it wikll not be for any other purpose but the Judgment. Jesus wopuld probably not receive any better reception than HE did the first time around except that HE would never be crucified again. I know of no other country that uses the Roman Cross today. What an extremly CrUeL DeAtH that was! Have a great week.

If Jesus came back today it would be too late to choose. The return of Christ will be the end of the world.
You must make your choice before He comes back or you die, whichever comes first.
There is no last minute changes.

The public would treat him as he was treated before. I for one would have loved to have seen Jesus in person but I wll be satisfied when I meet him in heaven.

The truth is, no Christian would believe he was Jesus, until he proved it in some way....which would undermine the whole concept of "faith" and therefore everyone would be doomed to an eternity in the fiery pits of hell.

Hm...on second thoughts....I'd rather he stayed away actually.

I merciful god forgive my sins but help me understand me, the world has persecuted me and made me ashame of myself not for my christianity but for what I was born feeling, I was born a man and attracted to another man.... (is this wrong, why was I born with these feelings of the desire of flesh, would it been more correct to marry a woman and could not perform my husbandaly duties)

....... (I would ask for his understanding,,,,, I am tired of being nailed to a cross by others than him)

Jesus said that when they say, "look, there he is" or "he is in the desert" - "do not believe them - many false teachers will come"

Jesus is coming . . . but he will stop short of touching the earth and gather HIS unto himself . . .

(I guess I didn't play along with your premise? - yes - they would arrest him and He would give His Life - no one took his life! It was planned as far back as Genesis)

When Jesus comes, there will not be one person denying who He is. Everyone will bow down to Him, as we should.

They'd cart him off to the funny farm. Most Christians would get all freaked out and be all "Blasphemy! Blashpemy!"

Then again, if he came, Christians would be gone...

to be frank.... all of mankind would literally mess their pants.. then fall on bended knees, confessing Jesus as King of kings and Lord of lords.
