I like Mormons. They are a very good people. I think it is funny that people twist their views all the time, and feel the need to bash them. They do some of the greatest service to other people, and no one is paid at all in their church. Not even the janitors. Yeah, I think they're cool. The more that people attack them, the more endearing they are to me.

Oh here we go!!!!!
1. Mormons are good people.
2. Atlas, when was the last time you had a missionary or member of the church break down your door and force you to read a Book Of Mormon?
3. Mormons are not "Brainwashed" to believe anything. There are thousands of converts joining every year (MAX CADY & me) Mormonism is not a cult, and I feal sorry for those of you who were "brainwashed" into beleaving such a thing by parents, grandparents, and other old timers that felt so threatened by the Mormon movement that those "christians" Murdered thousands of Morman men, women, and children. Not to mention drove them from their self built homes and businesses to take them over for themselves.
4th. It is not the caffeen that Mormons do not drink, it is tea and coffee due to the tanic acid in it. Tanic acid is not good for you neither is smoking that is something else they dont do. They do not believe in putting harmful things into their bodies, and not surprisingly, they have a longer lifespan.
5th. TFoley500, One can only have self control over one's self, not their family. But on the contrairy, Mormon children are raised to warship, love others, show compassion for their fellow man, to have charity, faith, have good morals. God gave everyone free agency therefore, everyone has the ability to choose to make bad choices what ever denomination they are.
6th. I hope this gives everyone a more accurate description of what a Mormon really beleaves and gives everyone a better understanding of them as people.
I KNOW I WILL NOW recieve 1000's of bad ratings, that is OK. Jesus Christ did too.
ONE MORE THING: To those of you who do not have time for God or Christian People, I hope you will have a humbeling situation that will help you come to the truth before your physical life is over.

daiseykris and Sarah S said it all.

I am LDS also and I have many friends of other faiths. We have discussed many things about our respective churches and have always had respect and courtesy for each other. We have NOT pushed our Religions on each other, and I would NEVER think of doing that.

I will admit that I am not as active or follow the teachings as strictly as I should but that doesn't mean I can't still be the best person I can be.

Also like daiseykris also said our church is made up of many different personalities and even some of us ask questions about the church and beliefs. In fact the LDS Churches teaches about learning and doing research to gain KNOWLEDGE.

Mine have NEVER waivered in my BELIEF about this being the TRUE Church. All the bashing and bad mouthing against LDS just help me do more research and makes my belief even stronger.

So all those that bash the LDS I want to say THANK YOU FOR HELPING MY BELIEF GROW STRONGER.

Mormons are just Christians with a twist. I believe their hearts are in the right place, even if I don't agree with the book of Joseph. You can not really hate some one for truly following their beliefs, all you can do is disagree...

I hate people who stir up hate. This questions stirs up hate.

"There are 2 kinds of people in this world. Those that divide people into 2 groups and those that don't"

A better question is: Do you agree or disagree with the Mormon principles?

Don't ask sweeping questions about groups of people :(

I attended a Mormon church very briefly. Mostly nice people and well organized. But alas had many crazy beliefs, but no more than other religions.

Did Joseph Smith make all that stuff up? Of course! But is it any less true than the old testament and new testament? No.

That's like saying "do you like or hate blacks" or Jews. It's way too wide a question. I imagine I'd like some and not like others. Every Mormon I've known has been very nice, and I would agree with them on 99% of the social issues.

Now, I strongly disagree with their view of God, and I think they distort Biblical teachings. But that's another question entirely. One can disagree and still be civil and friendly.

I like the Mormons. They are good people and have a faith/religion built on solid ground that few have. Their organization resembles the primitive church of Christ. This is something that has not, and cannot be duplicated by any other church/religion. And you can take that to the bank.

I'm friends with a lot of Mormons, and one is actually my best friend. Most of them are really nice...they may be pushy when it comes to their religion, but I've told my friends not to push it on me and they have respected my wishes. Just because people may not agree with their way of life doesn't mean they are bad people.

I can't say that I hate them at all. They use to irritate the hell out of me during sacrament meeting. Mostly they irritated me on fast, and testimony Sunday, with all of there mindless ramblings. They couldn't just get up there and bare there testimony, but rather bore me with there boring stories. YUK!!! I walk the Left Hand Path now. But, I have nothing against my old friends, well not all of them anyway. - Voodoo
