Flying will take while and get very exspensive just get to seoul stationa nd take the KTX its costs 70,000 regular or 100,000 for first class round trip and only takes about an hour and 45 minutes ....I live in wae gwan rght out side of Taegu And love going to seoul as often as possible.

Once you get there you can buy tickets much cheaper at a travel agent than you can on line from out of the country. www.tourcabin.com has cheap tickets, but the site is all in Korean.
Depending where in Seoul you are, it might be just as fast to take the KTX, normal trains and buses only take 3-4 hours too, and are much much cheaper (about 15,000won).
By KTX it takes an hour and a bit.
