The federal government strictly prohibits using any tanning device more than once every 24 hours. It can take as long as 24 hours for the tanning process to complete. Generally, it is recommended that you wait at least 48 hours in between tanning sessions to allow your tan to fully develop. Tanning more than once every 24 hours may also result in sunburn, which may take 12-24 hours to fully become visible after your tanning session, so by tanning more than once a day you could potentially make the sunburn worse and not even see it until the next day.

One of my friends mom died at age 40. She tanned twice a week and receieved skin cancer. It was very tragic and she had two kids at young ages. Tanning occassionally is not bad for you but a lot can leave damage. Good Luck
