yes they can. Many of your multi symptom cold/allergy medicines contain both. Ibuprofen would be better with the sudafed. Ibuprofen reduces swelling, Tylenol does not. Oh and tylenol can cause liver damage even at low doses.

I'm an RN at an ER. Tylenol 3 is a very mild drug. When taken with Sudafed the only thing that would happen is it would make you a bit more tired. If you are a smoker, the tube put down your throat during surgery causes even more pain that a non-smoker. So in a nut-shell it is fine to take together. If you don't want to be so sluggish, take them about 2 hour apart from one another. That is what we do at the Hospital. Feel Better.

Sudafed For Kids

Over the counter cold medications like Coricidin-D, Nyquill, Vicks, have both acetominofen and sudafed in them, so the combination is apparently safe. Its probably not a good idea to get this type of advice from people like me who don't know anything, so you might want ot verify this info by calling a local pharmacy.

Yes.

To be sure, read the packaging on the Sudafed. Be sure it doesn't contain acetaminophen.

there are medications you can use that have both ingredients. Just make sure you give them the right dose. When you look for a medication always look for the ACTIVE ingredients, that shows you what medications are being used and how much, then you can compare them with other medications
