The vast majority of germs are the COMMON germs - which most disinfectancts will kill.

The minority of germs are the RARE germs which only stronger disinfectants can kill. These types of disinfectants aren't used regularly like the ones advertised b/c they are also harmful to you and I.

Because it is just stating that It kills almost all the germs. If they stated that it killed 100% of the germs then it would most likely be a false statment!

There is never an "all". Besides by stating something is less 100%, the makers are saying 'just in case there's a germ we don't know about" and they can avoid a lawsuit.

bacteria is always mutating ie its genetic make up is always becoming resistant to certain chemicals/medications etc which is why it would be false advertising to say it kills 100% of germs. oh and some germs may not even yet be known.

If they claim it kills 100% and you get ill because it hasn't killed 100% then you can make a claim against them. There always has to be a get-out clause! There is always gonna be one nasty buggy bug that is gonna getcha!

CIA makes good Viruses and if the company wants FDA approval, well they cannot say that the CIA ,DoD doesn't make effective virul agents.

I think by saying that they are covering themselves so if anyone would say it didn't then they could say that's the 1% we can't kill it's just advertising
