Is it falling out or breaking off? Is she a hair twirler? Hair fallout at any age means something on the inside isn't going right ...it could range from stress to something serious... in a child that age....there is no advice better than take her to the doctor...pronto.
Good luck and God bless

This can mean that your child is lacking the proper nutrients or is deficient in a particular vitamin. Eating protein can help prevent this as well as biotin, silica and carotene vitamins, however given her age I would take her to her MD and see what he thinks. Kids are fickle about what they eat and often times they go through odd spells where the body needs one thing and they are too little to know it so they run deficient.

That is not normal at all. You need to get her in to her doctor quickly. Sounds like a deficiency, but I'm no doctor so I would call them first thing in the morning. Good Luck!

My friend had very thick black hair, but it fell out when she was 2, and grew back as ginger/brown/black beautiful hair.

Also, when i was around 12, my hair fell out due to stress, and i also pulled it out.

Maybe your daughter is pulling hers out behind your back.

One of the ways i stopped it falling out was i went to the doctor and she prescribed scalp strengthening cream.

Look into it quickly, but remember, it'll always grow back!!

maybe she has alopecia...which is a loss of hair
i would suggest you take her to a doctor because its very possible that the hair won't grow back if she has that
