"Thats out of context!!!"
"Thats out of context!!!
"that just means defensive beheadings"

That so, ok, well tell me why Allah had to write so much about violence?

If he ONLY wanted Muslims to fight in self defense, as opposed the the literal meaning of "fight ALL who dont believe in Allah (Quran 9.29)" then why couldnt he have just dont this:

Quran 1:1 Fight only in self-defense (end of any reference to murder or violence).
Quran 1:2 Love your mom
Quran 1:3 Love you dad

So simple isnt it?

"Oh no, you see, it was WRITTEN IN WARTIME!".

Ok, so Allah didnt write it?

"No, he did, but it was wartime"

So Allah was forced to write about the war during Muhammad's time?"

"no one can force allah"

So he didnt have to write anything about war, even while Muhammad was at war with everyone, right?

"Allah doesnt have to do anything"

So why did he write about so much war and violence?

"Because it was wartime"

(sighs...islamic stupidity is incurable)

from ur question it is obvious that u lack the knowledge needed to ask such question, the quran was not a book or a manual that was written in few days and sent to ppl, it was sent over 23 years, along the initiation of the Islam, it's spread to ppl, and it was sent to teach believers lessons they must know thru using life events that used to happen, whether it was peace time, war time, society problems, individual problem, family, the relation that joins the Muslim with other Muslims, and non Muslims botheres and sisters, and the relationship with Allah, to just focus on what it was mentioned in war time is misleading, we are as Muslims are not ordered by quran to kill the non Muslim just for killing by itself, if we do we'll be punished by Allah on the judgment day, 9-11 the mess that followed was a big mistake that i truly doubt that Islam has anything to do with it. but even if they did, who did it are a minority, look at the majority of Muslim, try to ask Muslims about their point of view , about the true msg of Islam..... do stick to one aspect and make random judgment like this... it is ur responsibility to search for the truth....

Because the prophet was living in violent times. Things where resolved in battle. That was the way and Allah was guiding the Prophet and his follower through that time.
Just because the answers don't suit you, does not make them either stupid or incurable.

Why are you consistently concerned about what is in the Quran and what Muslims believe. We get it you don't agree. Get over it and move on.
There is plenty of violence in the bible too, why do you never question that?
You don't understand the Quran so stop quoting it.

For Muhammad to stake his claim as the last and final prophet, he was more bloody than previous prophets or kings, for that matter. He had 65 battles in his lifetime, I heard recently. The Quran starts out gentle like a lamb and finishes like a lion bloodied with the innocents of the world. At least the way some are reading it these days.
Convert or die, infidels!

The answer is simple -

Allah did not write the Quran, it was written by the Devil

(or it is quite possible that these people actually believe that they are followers of God but really their God - Allah is the Devil.)

The whole religion is based on brainwashing as many people as possible into converting. It is not a peaceful and beautiful religion as some claim. It is very negative, dark and demonic and if what they say is true (Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world) I feel sorry for the people of the future. Bloody devil worshippers!

i've got examine most of the Koran, and that i got here across that it replaced into surely very loving in its message. Muslims are on no account meant to attack Christians or Jews, because of the fact they suspect interior a similar God. they are in a position to easily strike out in retaliation or self-protection, yet so as to realize this, they ought to attend a minimum of 30 days, and pray and meditate the full time. i'm a Christian, yet i've got not got faith for a 2d that their faith is thoroughly incorrect. the only factor they do no longer trust Christianity on is that Jesus replaced into the Son of God.

a) The Unbelievers failed to produce the like of Quran

When the revelations of the Quran began, the Most Noble Messenger clearly proclaimed the Quran to be the word of God, and said it was impossible for any human being to duplicate it. If anyone disagreed, he ought to make an attempt to copy it, and should feel free to seek help from any source in doing so. None was able to take up this challenge and produce even a short surah similar to the Quran.

The Qur'an remains a book of inimitable quality, not only from a linguistic, but also from and intellectual, point of view. When Muhammad was challenged by his fellow countrymen to present a miracle, in keeping with the tradition of other prophets, he presented the Qur'an to them. The inimitability of the Qur'an is repeatedly emphasized in the Holy Book itself.

The Quran issued a challenge not only to the contemporaries of the Prophet but also to men in all ages. In order to demonstrate the incapacity and impotence of people to imitate it, it issued the following universal proclamation: “Were all mankind to come together and wish to produce the like of the Quran, they would never succeed, however much they aided each other”. (17:88)

It then modifies the challenge and reduces its scope by saying: “Do people imagine that this Quran is not from Us, and that you, O Prophet are falsely attributing to us? Tell them that if they are speaking truly they should produce ten surahs resembling the Quran, and that they are free to call on the aid of anyone but God in so doing.” (11:13)

Then, at the third stage, the scope of the challenge is reduced still further: the deniers are called on to produce only a single surah resembling the Quran: “Oh people, if you doubt the heavenly origin of this Book which We have sent down to Our servant, the Prophet, produce one surah like it.” (2:23)

A yet stronger challenge occurs in another chapter:

“Or do they say: 'He forged it'? Say: 'Bring then a sura like unto it and call [to your aid] anyone you can”. (10:38)

Since we know that some of the shorter surahs consist only of a few brief sentences, this final challenge constituted a definitive proof of the human being’s inability to imitate the Quran. Can the person of today take up the challenge of the Quran and produce a Surah like it, thereby conquering the stronghold of Islam and invalidating the claim of its Prophet?

Let us not forget that this challenge was issued to a people whose leaders were threatened by the devastating attacks of the Quran - their lives, their property, their ancient customs, their ancestors, their whole social position. If it had been at all possible for the Arabs to respond to the challenge of the Quran, they would have taken it up immediately, with the unstinting aid of the masters of eloquence that were by no means rare in that age. Thus they would have invalidated the proofs of the Quran and won an everlasting victory.

Quran has proposed a very simple challenge to those who oppose it. Why do then the deniers of prophethood choose roundabout ways, avoiding this direct method of confronting and defeating Islam? Is not because the door is firmly closed on meeting the challenge posed by the Quran?

It is not that they did not try to mute the challenge. Infact, they called into play all their resources in an effort to meet the challenge of the Quran, but all their efforts came to naught. They were unable to point even to a single error or defect in the Quran, and were obliged to admit that its words were situated on a higher plane than the thought and speech of the human being.

Most of the Holy Books are full of violence. Our job is to find the good stuff in all of them - and realize that there is ONE GOD - no matter what you call it. The nature of that God is Love - and it works through all of us.

Talking about Islamic Stupidity doesn't help anything. Be nice.

Well, Have you ever read the Bible? I think it has its fair share of violence too. And our Christian History is full of Religious Violence "in the name of God".

The Quram, like the Bible, have stories about what the people did when defending their faith in ancient times. But both Holy Books teach us to love each other.

We all have so much to learn from each other. Thanks God that as long as there is life, there is hope.
