I have a friend who is 13 years old like me and we both are 100% protestants. Lately my friend tells me he masturbates and looks at a lot of porn. Is my friend in danger? Is he sinning? Is masturbation a sin? help plz!!!

Masturbation isn't a sin. It's oly what you make of it. It's a natural thing. Even animals do it. Especially monkies when they get excited. Males actually need to masturbate regularly anyway, as ejaculating often will lower the risk of prostate cancer.
Looking at pornography is simply curiosity, and it's a perfectly normal thing for young boys to do. Some males find it increasingly hard to masturbate without pornography. Let him continue unless you want him to face the risk of prostate cancer.
Anyway, I'm sure that even the Pope has touched himself in the naughty place, even if he doesn't want to admit it.

Of course it is a sin. Just ask him if he feel guilty when he does it. People have guilt because they are guilty. It will seriously affect his ability to have a relationship with God and he should bring it under control. He won't be able to do that as long as he is into porn.
