I have a vector FM stereo transmitter so I can listen to my mp3 player in my car. For some reason, the transmitter will not fit in my cigarette lighter outlet. I know it works, since I tried it in my sister's car and it works in there.

The question is:

I wouldn't suggest getting an fm transmitter. The product sparky found is actually really cool. Various frequencies (usually really high and really low) are constantly cut off with an fm transmitter, as well as the fact that many times you have to search around for the right fm frequency in order to hear your music. If you don't want to go with sparky's product, look into speaker level to line level converters. You splice them right into the speaker wires behind your radio/cdplayer and at the other end are RCA inputs.
