you are giving Christians headaches. It is pointless to try and use logic to dispute their claims because the basis of their entire belief structure is inherently illogical.

sover·eign [ sóvvrən ]

noun (plural sov·er·eigns)

Definition:

1. monarch: the ruler or permanent head of a state, especially a king or queen

adjective

Definition:

1. independent: self-governing and not ruled by any other state
a sovereign state

2. with complete power: having supreme authority or power
The king is the sovereign ruler of the land.

No God didn't create sin. Man chose to sin and He knew that before the foundation of the world. He knows everything and when it is going to happen. It doesn't take Him by suprise, and you could never ponder anything that would make Him ponder. He knows it already.

While many believers will say no to your question, I'll take the minority point of view. Since there is the human capacity for sin -- some will call it freewill -- and God is the sovereign Creator, then yes God created the capacity and thus the possibility for sin. Many will point to Satan, but Satan is just another dimension of God's creation. But in reality, these theological and philosophical quandaries can never reach a definitive conclusion because of the infinite possibilities that point towards a sovereign God or towards no creator at all.

Who told you God was sovereign over all Creation? Is that what you believe? Do you understand the absoluteness of your own freewill nature? You either believe you are responsible for your own actions, or you don't; it's a choice we make as moral beings.

Certainly the Spirit in man wants to reveal itself, but few human beings have sufficient maturity to not tangle with error at some level in their lives, and some get into evil. (see the Hitler Avatar for reference.) But you are the absolute "sovereign" of your own will, and Spirit never forces itself into a mind against that will.

The interesting thing is, God gave us that power of choice just to see if we would trust him enough to give it back; making him sovereign of our own free will power of choice. Some do, some learn to, some don't, and some don't learn. Beautiful, if you ask me.

this was asked previously down the list. He did not create sin, He allowed sin to happen. He created the world and man made a choice to corrupt it. If your meaning where did Satan come from. Well God created them to either say I love you, or I hate you. If He made everything that could say I love you, we would all be robots. Again, He didn't make it, He allowed it.

God did not create sin. God does not create evil. Adam and Eve committed the first sin and God did not make them.

They say sin is the absence of God. Sin is what was created when God withdrew himself, or some such rubbish. Anyway, they're basically saying that when God isn't there sin exists. Therefore sin must have existed before God and will continue to exist after God. Therefore, sin is greater than God because if God is the alpha and omega then sin is the parentheses around it.

Isaiah 45:7

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

But...

Sin is doing evil, so your answer is no. Sin is a result of using your free will to choose to do evil.

No. Although He made everything, He doesn't tell us how to use it. We have free will (which He gave us.)

A knife can be used for cutting an apple in two. A knife can also be used to murder somebody. The knife doesn't choose to murder...the person chooses to commit the murder (which is a sin.)
