This is for all the computer nerds, I need your help!!! My computer at home often gets viruses due to my boyfriends incessant use of LimeWire and god only knows what else he downloads without proper protection. We took it in to get wiped clean and all the programs put back on it. Since we've done this, the computer will not download ANYTHING. Pictures that are sent to me, Adobe, my camera software, NOTHING. It's very frustrating because I have a 3-month-old and I would like to share pictures with my family members. My boyfriend is one problem but I need the answer to what those people did to my computer and how to get it to download again. Help!

take it back to those people and make them fix it. even with out a written warranty there is always a rule saying they have to fix it. especially if you go to a manger and complain enough. I'm sorry and good luck. you should of gone with 911pcfix.com they are cheap, install protection software guaranteed for a year and come to your house and do it all.

If you have a firewall or something setup then I'd check there first. They could have made the security settings extra high.
