It sounds like the same symptoms I had when I had my gall bladder. I was sick everyday, and the pain would take my breath away. I'd also vomit a lot at night. You can go in, and have your gall bladder scanned. The surgery is so simple now, and as soon as I woke up, I felt like a new woman. ~~~~Good luck ~~

If it is a gall bladder problem , a severe attack of vomiting can send you to the emergency room where they will recommend removing your gall bladder immediately. One way of getting some relief is to limit your fat intake as much as possible. It is important to seek medical help because the attacks could cause a stone to leave the gallbladder and lodge in the bile duct or cause pancreatitis. Sleep on your left side so the gallbladder, which is on your right side , drains better. As previously stated, the surgery has been perfected and is relatively easy on the patient with a quick recovery barring any complications.

I see. I actually had to get my gallbladder removed, since I had gallstones. I woke up in the middle of the night with back pains just like you. However, I did not throw up, this seems a bit more major than my case was. Check with another hospital or check to see if you have gallstones, not gallbladder disease. If it's still Negative, then I advise you try to work out an exercise/diet, since gallstones and disease usually form due to excess fat in the system.

Of course, you should see a doctor to verify, but it sounds like gall bladder to me. I have similar symptoms, went to the hospital with a severe upper right quadrant pain, and had an ultrasound. I am full of gallstones. I see the dr. this week and will likely schedule surgery.
