Whats the shelf life of Polaroid film while in the camera?

I've let it sit for a year or so before finishing a pack. The real limitation is probably the battery and not the film itself. A fresh battery is contained in each film pack and that will go flat after a while. If you can push the shutter and the camera works, the film itself will probably be okay.
