an abortion is a persons own descion and it can not be made by anyone else you shouldnt feel bad by having to get one instead of having a life were you woulnt be able to properly provide for your baby because of money or your age or if you were raped then you are really doing your un born baby a favour
i understand it is a very emotional process but you are the only one who make the descion to have it and no one else but do consider everything you can hav children later on in life you need to think about the welfare of the child
i hope all works out for you

I personally think abortions are wrong, except in the case of rape. Even still, I think there should be a window for that abortion. For example, once the heart starts beating, I think the window is closed. I also think that not enough work is being done to make things like adoption easier for loving couples willing to adopt, which would save countless lives.

I, personally, do not believe in abortions. I have been strongly against them since I was a pre-teen and I have only become more pro-life as I grow older and do more research for myself. The biggest thing for me is that many babies have heart beats and brain waves before the mother even realizes that she is pregnant. A lot of people don't consider the "fetus" a baby until it is carried to term, but there is not an animal on this earth that starts off as one species and turns into another. As far as being a rape victim, there are other alternatives to abortion. I understand that rape is a horrific crime that no one should have to go through, but since when are children punished by death for the faults that one of their parents made (the criminal not the victim)?

I don't think abortions are right. It's not the baby's fault, they are an innocent child and they are ALIVE. Just because the father is a rapist, does not mean the child will be like the father, it depends on how they are raised and what kind of people they are around. So don't take it out on the child. There is always adoption and there are plenty of people who would die to have a baby and can't. That's how I look at it.

Do not believe in abortions. Even it is rape. The child is precious gift and if you don't want it, give it up for adoption. There are many people out there who would love to adopt.

I think you should have the choice in what you do in your life. I think it is terrible that this thing happens.. but I also think it is real easy to sit in judgment of someone and say...YOU CAN"T DO THAT. Well, you don't have to live with that decision every day, every hour. The woman that had the abortion does. I can't say it is not murder, and I would not have one myself. I just can't make you have a baby you don't want. Does that make any sense?

Still wrong to me. I can see where your coming from though, but it's not the baby's fault. If the person were not ready for the child, at least let it have a life, give it up for adoption. Murder is Murder and bad things happen... all the time, but that's not an excuse to do wrong in return. It should be turned around in to something good and wonderful. I really don't care what anyone says because as soon as that sperm fertilizes the egg... its a baby!

i believe a woman has the right to choose how she lives her life & whether or not to have a child. sometimes a woman or girl cannot even take care of herself for the duration of a pregnancy to ensure the health of the baby.
but i don't believe in late-term abortions unless there's a high risk to the mother's life.
it's a hard decision to make, and i don't think women who've had to make that choice should be ostracised. it's hard enough for them to live with themselves sometimes. (this is of course not applicable to those questionable women who seem to think abortion is a form of birth control.)

nope, I don't believe in them. My aunt was raped when she was 12 and didn't have an abortion. I think she's a very strong woman for raising her child. My cousin is 42 years old now.
