Yes, have you seen some of the lies the tell about gay people? Truth doesn't get in the way of their quest for power and dominion.

Religions always revolve around the society they are practices.....the main them of the same sect is different if your in the USA, Africa, Latin America, or Asia or they fail to connect

European reg lions embraced Imperialism, ours Slavery

If you thinking about it logically it does not make sense but religion is faith and spiritual based.....so most accept the contradictions

i think more than few will surprised in the after life and they are sweating while looking up instead of looking down as a cool breeze flows around them

if you believe in god, no church or minister can actually say how god determines the pious and the sinners cause the earthly standards change over time.

It's not just religion, how about politics or applications for scientific research funding or a job application? Everyone "twists up the facts" to justify their personal beliefs or goals. Try to mind your own bias, your own twisting of the facts.

Also, it may not be so devious as "twisting the facts" but simply a different way of interpreting facts, picture two different cultures explaining polygamy...one considers it evidence of generosity or success and one considers it a sin. Display a touch of respect for other perspectives. Thanks much.

Wouldn't it be fair to say that all people will twist the facts in order to prove themselves correct.

I don't think it relates only to religious people.

Of course we do. But don't u dare think that non-believers are any more innocent of that. It's human nature to be competitive, and right, and to prove it we have have to find ways of justifying it.

No, its just you.

Liberals twist facts in order to justify: stealing from the middle class, excusing felons, teachers that molest children, riots, anarchy, communism.

I don't try to prove my religion. I know what I am, and hopefully the people who meet me will know what I am by my actions.

I think everyone does that to a certain extent. Religion is certainly guilty of this as they frequently claim the bible is symbolic but then change their minds and say it is factual.

Yep, I agree. They also like to repeat the same things over and over again, and never really answer your questions. Why? Because they don't want to say that they honestly don't know.
