The "yellow stuff" is the yolk of the egg mixed with other ingredients, then placed back into the hollow where the yolk was.
I don't like relish, so I leave that out.
Usually, however, it's a mix of yolk, a little pickle relish, a bit of salt, a bit of yellow or dijon mustard, and a bit of mayo.
Boil the eggs for 10 to 12 minutes, peel them, then cut them in half. Scoop out the yolks, and then mix...
Just add a little of each of the ingredients to the yolk mixture in until it's to your taste. Then, spoon the mix back into the hollow of the eggs, and sprinkle paprika on top.
Refrigerate! Both the eggs and the mayo are dangerous if not kept refrigerated.

Slice the egg (um...hotdogwise, not hamburgerwise)
Take out the yolks, part in the middle(it will be greenish
gray/yellow)

boil eggs (approx 9), shell all the eggs, cut eggs in half length wise, remove all the yolks and place in bowl, mash with a fork, add about 2-3 tablespoons of mayonaise (not miracle whip or salad dressing), add a teaspoon of mustard and salt and pepper to taste. Mix all together, if mixture is too dry continue to add small amounts of maynaise until desired consistancy and refill the egg whites. I do not add relish or anything else. I always get extreme compliments on my deviled eggs and there are never any left. Hope this helps, it is really an easy thing to make.

"6 hard boiled Eggs (large)
3 tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon mustard (honey mustard is great!)
1 teaspoon vinegar
salt & pepper to taste
paprika (optional)
To boil eggs, place eggs in enough cold water to cover completely, bring to a rolling boil over high heat.
Reduce heat to a lower MEDIUM BOIL and cook an additional 12 minutes.
Promptly chill eggs so yolks stay bright yellow.
Remove shells from eggs, and halve lengthwise with a knife.
Carefully remove the yolks, and place in a medium bowl.
Mash yolks with a fork, and add remaining ingredients.
Very carefully spoon mixture back into the egg white halves. Garnish with a light sprinkling of paprika (optional). "

I just mentioned this for a appetizer to someone else..
Ok... Take 24 to 48 eggs boil them . After you boil them let them cool down for 30 minutes or so in cold water. Once eggs are cooled crack all of them open placing deshelled eggs in a bowl. afterwards you take a fine knief Cut a line across the egg very thin not wanting to cut through the yolk. Open the egg and saparate yolk from the outter portion of the egg. after repeating on all eggs. you than smash up your egg yellow yolk and put your choice of seasonings. I usually use garlic salt, to your taste spoon full of cruched red peppers if you have them if not regular peppers will do, than take some sweet relish, cut onions really small and some celery really small if you have a chopper it would be best to use. than use Real Mayonase whip it all up and you than start placing the paste in the egg whites. vwolah! Deviled Eggs..

hard boiled eggs are peeled and cut in half. I use a spoon to scoop out the yolks into a bowl. For really creamy fillings I use butter but some ppl use mayo and mustard whichever you choose add enough to taste and add whatever spices you like such as salt, pepper, cajun seasoning or a dash of paprika across the top of filled eggs.
