Quite a few models of BB guns will also shoot pellets. BB's are .180" and some guns will also shoot .177" pellets. I have a Crosman air rifle and CO2 pistol that will shoot both.

pointed pelets stay in your skin if your tryin to shoot anyone lol but yeah and high grade steel bbs are more money for not much of a difference ya know its better to just buy the normal old bb's

It really depends on what you are shooting at. For instance, I have found while hunting with a bb/pellet gun if you are close to your target either will do the job well enough. However, if you are at some distance the pellets will do a better job, less drop in acceleration and thus better penetration. You can practice with both and find out what you prefer.

high grade steel BB's are what i use, i have a Red Ryder Carbine. if you are hunting squirrels, use BB's not pellets. if you are a plinker or exhibition shooter, you should still use BBs. your BB gun might not even be capable of shooting a pellet. i would reccomend just using BB's.

I love BB's but be careful because they are just little balls of steel they can bounce back at you very easily. Pellets are safer and usually penetrate better.

If your gun will shoot pellets, use them. BB's will wear the riffling out of the barrel. I learned that from experience.

bbs are fine unless you want to actually kill something like a bird or squirrel use pellets. They pierce instead of bounce more easily Be careful!!
