Please tell me the best place to look. I know my original name and my biological big sister's name. Thanks.

I found mine. I went to the social services, and they found her. But be warned, You may be in for dissapointment. I was.

Try the adoption agency that handled your case. Sometimes when your over 18 they will release some information to you that may help you along your way. One way but its deceitful is to say that you need to contact them for a medical reason and play on their sympath and sometimes they will disclose information to you even if the birth mother told them never to release it. Also sometimes the birth mother later in life will go back to the agency and change the papers because she wants to see you too so to start there is your best bet.

If you know your sisters name and the area she lives have you tried friends reunited? if you dont know the area you can just search a name and it will give you all names that are same, if you know her age then you should know roughly which year she left school and it will narrow it down. Good luck with your hunt.

The salvation army do a free search just go on line and fill a form in ,and they will write back and tell you if they can help, give as much info as you can, and good luck.

contact the adoption society you have rights to see information they often sort out liaison ifthey have any details which could be current.

Go to the library they will give you lots of good advice, they did me but i could not be bovered with it all.
