...it's been sixth months since we started going out, and the relationship is generally OK - she is very reserved and very, very, very reserved when it comes to romantic stuff. We were best friends for 3 years before we decided to become a couple. I have fallen in love for her, but I'm pretty sure she doesn't feel the same... generally, that hurts.
Anyhow, she has not once (in sixth months) even told me that she likes me, appreciates me, is thankful that we're together. Never has she said "I miss you!" or "Thanks for always being there for me!". I try so hard to be the best boyfriend and she knows I would do anything for her (I do anyway!), and all I need to make me happy would be the occassional "I miss you" or "I like you."
I've asked her about it before, and she didn't have an excuse and said she would try to do it more. No change.
What can I do? I wouldn't mind if she expressed her love in other ways, but she doesn't.

i suppose the best indication is that she is still with you -- that says it --- of all the people in the world she chooses to be with you and maybe thats how she sees it and does not feel she has to tell you all the time

Wow, yeh that would hurt. So she agreed to date you but you're pretty sure she doesn't love you? I dunno, there are some guys that you can only ever be friends with .. there's no spark there. But if a girl really had feelings for a guy .. it's pretty hard to hold them back and not show any sign of affection at all.

Tell her you love her, but tell her she dosent care about you. If that upsets her, then she loves you, but just dosent know how to say it.
